This is the superb setting for this magnificent painting of a Wild Boar family spotted near Mount Eagle in 2021. This peaceful winter scene shows the boars and Pheasants feeding. The boars which were feared to possibly carry dangerous diseases were culled and created fierce debate at the time. Daniel Van Der Putten is Dutch born but resides and paints in the UK.
